Crunchy August 15, 2010 D. Curreri (New Port Richey, FL United States) My husband and I enjoy the peanut crunch by Nature Valley. It is hard to find in stores; in my area, New Port Richey, Florida, all that is available is almond crunch. I am allergic to almonds. The only place I can get the peanut variety regularly is Amazon. Thanks Amazon!
Good product but wrong package March 26, 2010 Orlando Navarro (Atlanta, GA USA) The Nature Valley bars are in general very good. They are healthy crunchy and taste good. However, I didn't see anywhere, but at Costco, the big package with 48 bars. Since I am a Costco customer, the obvious solution would be to buy at Costco. Unfortunately they only offer one type of bar on that package size, which is the peanuts with peanut butter. I don't like much this type because the peanut butter makes it too sweet. At Amazon, I can find most types, but why do they only sell a 6x6 package and not a 1x48? They would be able to sell more, 48 versus 36 and the packaging would be cheaper. In addition by buying in large volume, we wouldn't have to buy as often, which would translate into a shipping and handling savings as well. They could then pass some of that savings to us, the customer, making us happier.
YUM! March 16, 2010 love the originals (So. California) These are super-duper good. They are very crunchy, but not too crunchy. They are very sweet, but not too sweet. Perfect for the killer-hungries at my desk at 3:30 p.m., and they are surprisingly filling and satisfying. You can't go wrong with these. Have fun!
Perfect Fast Protein ... And Delish! December 28, 2009 Ann Cook (VALENCIA, CA United States) This is a very nice nutbar to have on hand for those rushed days, as this and a cuppa tea will see you through a missed lunch. They used to be 7 g of protein and the bars were a tad bit larger, but they kept the same sized wrapper and shrank the contents, so it's now 6 g's. That notwithstanding, it's a great alternative for kids who might otherwise eat junk.
I really like these! March 28, 2009 Mary Santos (Houston, Texas) I wasn't sure if I would like these when I bought them, but to my surprise, they taste really good!
Another reviewer mentioned that they were like a peanut brittle and I tend to agree, only these aren't that hard and much easier to crumble and eat. I love sunflower seeds, so was happy to see them in these.
Even with being shipped across country, all the bars were in one piece and completely intact. I will be buying them again, soon.
