5 out of 5 stars Roasted Nut Crunch   July 29, 2010
Marcia Marcia (Frankenmuth, MI)
This product is superior to almost any other nut bar on the market and the only one I buy on a regular basis, because it is composed almost exclusively of nuts (almonds)and seeds and is not too sweet.

5 out of 5 stars Soooo delicious   April 30, 2010
East Coast Reader
A friend gave me one of these bars to try, and I am hooked. I thought they would be like other granola bars, but as another reviewer says, they are almost like a nut brittle. I buy the almond variety, which is almost entirely nuts, sunflower seeds, and a sweetener to hold it all together. They are sweet and nutty, just like nut brittle. The taste is amazing, but there are only 6 grams of sugar in the bar! That's what keeps me going back... they're not completely healthy, but they're not as bad a candy, either. They are a great protein-filled snack with a dessert-like flavor. I like granola bars well enough, but I don't look forward to eating them. But I actually look forward to one of these as an evening snack with a cup of tea.

5 out of 5 stars The best bar I know   February 8, 2010
Dan Diggles (New York, NY)
This is the best snack bar I've found. Pure peanuts, almonds and sunflower seeds. No sticky granola filler. WARNING WHEN ORDERING!: I ordered six boxes. There are six bars in each box. However the ordering information is misleading and instead of getting the six boxes I'd paid for, I got one box with six bars. On the other hand, Amazon apologized for the mistake and sent me six boxes in addition to the one I'd received.

5 out of 5 stars Crunchy & Delicious   November 22, 2009
Grandma Pat (Stevens Point, WI USA)
We enjoy this so much we placed a 2nd order soon. The flavor is great and it's quite nutrious.

5 out of 5 stars Lower sugar than most, packed with great flavor!   September 8, 2009
Natasha Stryker (California)
These bars are wonderful! Full of nuts and the box says just 6 grams of sugar, much lower than others I have tried. The protein really fills me up and keeps me sated for 2+ hours. I think they taste like Cracker Jack without the popcorn, very light and crunchy.

Other nut bars I have tried are chewy and the nuts tend to lose their snap sitting in nougat-style binding; these are lightly sweet and brittle. I break up the bar before I open the open the pouch and pop in the clusters while I work to keep me away from the donuts in the break room.

The price is fantastic: the amazon.com 6 pack breaks down to 57 cents a bar, which is WAY less expensive than other nut bars of this quality. I used to eat KIND bars, but they are over $1 a bar and more sugar.

There are only 8 ingredients and I can pronounce and recognize them all; there is corn syrup in these, but it is not High Fructose Corn Syrup (which is modified and not very good for you). I eat about 3-4 of these a week.

Another tip: I am 6 months pregnant and find these a perfect thing to keep in my purse for when I need a nosh to keep me from getting light-headed, the protein and low sugar keeps me buoyant and doesn't send me crashing. One of these, a string cheese and a piece of fresh fruit is a filling and easy mid-day meal when I am pressed for time.
