Our favorite so far! July 18, 2008 Choopy My daughter is allergic to wheat, dairy, eggs, and peanuts. So I have tried few other bread mixes, frozen breads or recipes. This one is our favorite. My daughter likes it because: It has a "home made bread" consistancy which is so good right after you cut it. Taste is not too strong, although I have heard some people mentioned about taste of chickpea. It doesn't bother us. You can use it for many things from sandwiches to grilled cheese. I really like it because: I can bake it in the bread machine. I can also use egg replacer. I especailly like that I can make pizza dough with it!! (It freezes well, too!) Over all, we enjoy this product very much. Thank goodness it is available for people with food allergies. Thanks, Bob!!
Absolutely Delicious! July 17, 2008 V. Bolling (Alabama (I know what you are thinking)) This is an absolutely delicious gluten free bread. I made it in the oven with wonderful results. I have been wheat free for a while now, and I have learned that good bread is hard to come by. This is definitely worth a purchase.
Bread for gluten-intolerants July 14, 2008 Julie (North Potomac, MD) If you suffer from celiac disease or are gluten/wheat intolerant, this bread mix is by far the best I've tried. If you own a bread machine (and it can be made without one) it is quite easy. The directions are very clear and the only ingredients you need to add to the mix are milk, eggs, oil and cider vinegar.
After not eating bread for about 3 years, I discovered this product and it changed my life and particulary the life of my teenage son who also suffers from celiac disease and wanted to eat sandwiches for lunch.
Enjoy!
Wonderful Bread July 11, 2008 Judy A. Wood This is one of the best bread mixes I have used since being diagnosed with Celiac Sprue many years ago. I had given up eating the boughten gluten free packaged bread but now can have a great sandwich again. Works well in bread machines using either a basic bread or gluten free cycle.
Great Gluten-Casein Free Bread! June 23, 2008 Pam (Michigan) This bread was the first GFCF bread (when you use a milk alternative) we have tried and we love it. So does my daughter, which is what really matters! We made it in the bread machine. It is soft, moist, and tastes delicious.
