Online Store
« on: March 23, 2005, 06:51:09 PM »
There is a site and brick & mortar store in Wisconsin that I have personally visited. The site is www.food4celiacs.com. A husband and wife team own it. The wife was there when I went there about 2 weeks ago. They are both celiacs. She was helpful in steering me to some of their favorite items in the store. I don't know if this information helps anyone but I figured I would post it anyway. They ship all over the country. Thanks for reading this. Tom L

Thanks, TomL!  It's always helpful to have another GF source!

I still like some of the stuff from ener g foods. I had a bit of a problem with the company and was able to speak with the president who has in his family a lot of celiac condition. The people who were difficult apologized and they sent me free food. The donuts are not exactly like the real thing, of course, but let me tell you when I bit into that chocolate iced donut it reminded in those Entemans I used to eat. Only the icing is much better quality. Yummy yummy! I haven't tried the fruitcake, brownies, or scones yet but I will tell you guys all about them.  Again I want to thank srider for having this site and responding factually to my questions. This site has made it so much easier for me to live easy and happy. I think I don't mind too much avoiding wheat because I already learned to avoid alcohol and drugs (no easy feat for me) so I use the same behavior.  Anyway, Prosperous Holidays to all. matroc
