I would have to disagree with a statement made in this article, "This is the first book to take a comprehensive look at the medical, dietary, nutritional, emotional, psychological and social aspects of celiac disease and its only treatment, the gluten-free diet." There are other books out there, however many are lesser known due to the medical community's view on Celiac disease. One book in particular that I have found incredible helpful is Dr. Wangen's "Healthier Without Wheat." This book is very comprehensive and has helped me a great deal in sorting through the confusion of gluten intolerance. In the end, it is great to see that gluten-intolerance is slowly finding respect and gaining attention among physicians and other healthcare professionals!
