To the Editor: We read with interest the article by Giordano et al. regarding the frequency of celiac disease among epileptic patients. According to their report, the prevalence of antibodies related to celiac disease was comparable to that of healthy control subjects, and therefore, Italian epileptic children should not be considered a group at risk for celiac disease.
