Basic Tomato Sauce
         

This is the base sauce I make in large quantity and then freeze.  I often add things to the defrosted portions before use, and I also use it in various dishes, like lasagna.  I created it myself.  spices can be varied to desired taste.  I often swap the sage listed here for rosemary. -- posted by Khyricat
