We have learned of yet another planned drug treatment for celiac disease that is now being tested in Europe.

A german firm named Zedira claims to be currently testing a drug that would remove the requirement for a gluten free diet.  They expect it may become available as soon as 2011, this may mean available in Europe and not worldwide.

We'd love to hear from anyone with more specific information about Zedira and their planned pharmacological approach to treating celiac disease.
