Once again, this news is about the drug being tested by the company originally known as Alba Pharmaceuticals.  Years ago I volunteered for one of their clinical trials and traveled to Baltimore (from California)  to participate, only to be disqualified based on other medical issues. At that time this drug was called AT-1001.

So I never was in the trial, but I have been following the news of this drug very closely.  If it is eventually released as a prescription drug I intend to try it, and eat 5,832 loaves of French bread and maybe 6,543 sub rolls, oh and several hundred loaves of sourdough bread too.

Not that I miss real bread or anything....

Oh and pizza, billions and billions of pizzas!

I think this drug is the most promising of the several strategies being researched right now.
