With Whole Foods... :-D  I am surprised I restrained myself from purchasing anything (I just went to look didn't have the extra money)....

Next time I have to take one of the kids to U of M in Ann Arbor I will make sure I have $ to spend......

I can't believe how big of a selection of GF foods they have.... :-o

It is a very nice store, we don't have one in our local area, but we did when we lived in the SF Bay Area.

There is the fact that some people call it Whole Paycheck.

Be careful of their precooked food items in the steam trays.  I've been glutened a few times by items that should have been GF if the ingredient list were accurate.

A lot of people rave about their store brand GF bread, and they sure do have a very wide selection of GF food.

Enjoy!

What I was looking at more was the pasta, cereals, crackers, Bob's Red Milletc. Their prices are comparable to Hillard's or even some Kroger Items. I was just in awe at the amount of cereals and pasta especially.....  :-D

I am always careful about price....and will definitely have a budget when I go in next.... LOL And thanks for the warning about their precooked items.....

Next time you go, ask at the manager's desk for their Gluten Free Shopping List, which is a handy reference of all the GF items they sell.  (Well, current at the time of printing, anyway.)

The nice thing about the store is that many GF items are clearly marked on the shelves as well as on the packaging.  And whereas the average store may only carry one or two products from a company that makes GF foods, Whole Foods will often carry most of the product line.  (Annie's Naturals dressings, for example.)

But you're right about the $$$ issue.  You almost need to bring someone with you to drag you out when the time comes.  It's easy to go wild.
