I have read on many forums, of people who have pains and aches
that don't respond to obvious treatment, like muscle relaxants and mild analgesics.
.
Maybe they're trying to treat the obvious,
where in fact the part of the body in distress is located somewhere else.
.
This is called Referred Pain, the folllowing is an article entitled,
Referred Pain, can be a pain in the neck.

.
All major organ in the body have a referred pain site, here is a diagram.
.
Permission has been sought from McGraw-Hill for use of this diagram.
