Okay, so I have hated the rice flour spaghetti noodles since my son went GF. I hate the way they cook up.....but I found  noodles I like at Hillers! It is the Ancient Harvest Brand...Made with Corn and Quinoa flour. YUM! Much firmer and more like regular spaghetti than the rice noodles which to me always cook up  mushy and nasty no matter what you do.  grin

Great news, quinoa is very nutritious too, while pasta made from white rice flour is nearly all carbohydrates.

I think you're talking about this product:

Which we sell here:

Along with other types of noodles from Ancient Harvest:

If you do want to give rice-based pasta another try, and you have not already tried Tinkyada brand, I do recommend it as my perrsonal favorite. Many of their rice pasta varieties are made with whole grain brown rice, thus having better nutritional value.  And I find that the Tinkyada brand does not become mushy if you overcook it slightly, as some types of rice pasta do.

Here is my all time favorite GF pasata:

Yes, those are the noodles. Yum!

I bought some brown rice noodles from Trader Joe's once, they were pretty good.....I'll have to look for the Tinkyada brand.

I have to agree about the Tinkyada noodles. I find them to be the best of the rice pastas, and, at least in this area, the best value in terms of quality without being overly expensive. They are my staple pasta.

When I was first diagnosed, I was fond of a brand called bi-aglut, from Italy. I haven't seen them for quite some time, but they were pricey enough to be a rare treat rather than an every day type of food.

I'm not able to tell the difference between the Trader Joe's rice pasta and the Tinkyada.  Tinkyada is made in Canada.  Trader Joe's rice pasta is made in Canada.

I think it is quite likely that the rice pasta being sold at Trader Joe's under their brand name is made for them by Tinkyada.
