Alba Pharmaceuticals Currently Conducting Phase II Celiac Drug Trial

Alba Pharmaceuticals is developing a drug, currently called AT 1001 during the development phase, that is intended to allow persons with celiac disease to return to eating a normal diet.

Apparently they are already engaged in phase II trials. I was considered as a possible candidate for their Phase I trial almost a year ago, but I did not participate.

It may be only a few years now until a drug will become available that will allow celiacs to return to a regular diet.
