Testing Continues on AT-1001 Drug for Celiac Disease
« on: February 14, 2008, 06:01:31 PM »
TV channel 6 in Philadelphia had a news item (video) about famous celiac author Jax Lowell participating in a test of AT 1001, the same drug I volunteered to test several years ago.

The video was an unusually good job for TV news, with more detail than a typical TV item.  I think this drug will make it to market.

That's a great news piece.  Sounds like an actual journalist prepared it.

The only thing that perplexes me a little is the comment that "you can see how much gluten is in a product by looking at the label."  I wish it were that easy, but 'gluten' itself is rarely listed - you often have to suss it out by studying the ingredients list.
:)  Gluten-Free since January 5, 2002  :)
