Colin Leslie Walk for Celiac Disease - 10/16/2011

On Sunday October 16th I will again be walking in the Colin Leslie Walk for Celiac Disease.  This is the sixth year running and it is easily one of my favorite gluten free events of the year.  In addition to a short 2 or 4 mile walk along Long Island sound, there are guest speakers, a cake contest and an entire high school gym filled with GF vendors!  (At last count, there will be 43 of them!)

So far, this event has raised over $280,000 dollars in donations for the Celiac Disease Center at Columbia University in the previous five years!

If you are anywhere near Rye, NY, I highly recommend you come out to this event!

The walk was amazing this year, perfect weather and at final count . . . fifty-eight vendors!  I wanted to mention all the vendors that supported this event and mention their products/services so it took me a  month (and three separate articles) to finish!  Here are the reviews:
