Besides having celiac disease, I also limit myself to a strictly vegan diet - simply as a matter of personal choice. This makes it very hard to find energy bars/snack bars. A few years ago I heard about Bumble Bars. With the name and the picture of a bee on the package you might think these contain honey, which I do not use, but in fact they don't.
Some varieties of Bumble Bars are made with tree nuts, and some contain peanuts, so if you have allergies to those do be careful.
While I'm not wildly enthusiastic about them, they are great if you are far from home on a long bike ride or a hike. I also carry some with me when I fly, because airlines don't offer GF/Vegan meals.
